Flowers

I got this basket of flowers
in a photo album I bought -
it was there to be framed
on the front page, then replaced.
But when I took it out and changed it,
I had to pause and think.
It was quite a pretty picture,
throwing it out would be a waste.
So I'm sending you some flowers
(cuz you know I love you, babe)
And I really hope you like them,
though they probably weren't made
                        to be used this way.

I made two copies of this homemade 'postcard', because there were two identical pictures of flowers, and I have sent them to two people who are very dear to me.
